March 2003 Meeting Photos:

Despite the wet weather forecast, the day was dry, light winds, and overcast. Good turnout considering it was supposed to rain. Didn't take names but about 15 to 20 folk attended with some visitors stopping by occasionally.

Maiden voyage of my first wooden kit. Midwest Fantail Launch. Note the steam puffs on the port side. Although the shifter isn't installed, the transmission is in place and working in forward.  Paul ready to sail... almost.

Chris is hanging some cloth on the Lady Washington. Ray's Zig-Zag. Like a big water bug. All of the collision damage to the Jean Ann has been repaired and it is ready for more abuse.

Later in the day we set some sailing marks and had some competition. We could have used a bit more wind. Ken's John Morgan. Matt's sub is in the water. As usual, we had a nice mix of subs, sail, steam, & scale.
